Splitting hairs. It was a fair assumption on my part

The effects on his voice are jarring. I like the song and the arrangements otherwise. It's difficult to tell anything about his performance the way it is produced. It doesn't fit the recording at all.   

Personally, I think Love to Love sounds great overall. I do think the original is better paced than this version, but Axl sounds good. And, UFO has always been a guitar-first band, so Axl was going to be just a piece of the puzzle and not the star attraction. Honestly, this thread kind of makes it obvious that many people have never listened to UFO before, meaning they have not heard the best live rock album of all time.

It is of course Andy Warhol! It came out prior to Love to Love. Metallica also paid homage to this iconic riff in Master of Puppets. 

The guy didn't ask if Slash was back in the band, he asked if he was still in the band. A lot of people thought the reunion wouldn't last long and it's a sensible question to wonder if he left the band again given their history. Especially since Slash has done solo tours and albums
