Duff convinced Axl to opened with YCBM in 2014, hopefully he can convince him to rotate the opener now and then on the reunion tour.

Also, I think something that a lot of people are missing, but that I'm really thankful for, is that now I'll never have to go see Slash and Myles just to hear Slash rip through Nightrain I really wanted to go see Slash last time he was near me but just couldn't justify having to put up with Myles. (He was also playing around the time of 2 other shows I wanted to go to, and could only go to 1, so Myles made the choice pretty easy...)

Myles has sounded better than Axl for quite some time now. Let's hope that isn't the case any more..

For the entire world, GnR = Axl + Slash. Outside these boards, people don't give a shit if Duff's not in it, don't even know Izzy or Matt or Steven, and Dizzy's always been a nobody. So yeah... axl + slash. That's the only reunion GnR really needs.

I'm assuming people forgot about Slash's brother commenting on Axl being on a strict diet. That says it all right there. The last time he got into top shape was 2006 when he started believing in Chinese Democracy again (even though it came out 2 years later). I'm fairly certain that it's going down.

I just watched Nightrain from download 2006 for the first time and Axl sounded f'n great. He needs to come out looking and sounding close to that for this thing to work.

Now that we know it's gonna happen,let's hope a reunited Skid Row signs on as the opening band. The Pink Slips (Duff's daughters band)could open and it'll still be a massive success so there's no point in going after some hip ,flavor of the month band.

Just Axl, Slash and Duff are not enough with the way Axl looks and sounds these days. I would still go and enjoy it but it just wouldn't be as special as it could be. It would be a lot less exciting and I certainly wouldn't go to as many shows.

I have been thinking about this too. If we get Guns Lite meaning just Axl Slash and Duff and we get the Axl of the last 5 years then then it won't be that great. I think if it was the Appetite line up then it would be a lot easier to look past Axl's short comings. Who knows though, Axl could come out in the best shape he has been in in years and singing great.

I think one thing that could really help is if he sand in his lower register more often and save his voice for when he needs it. Use his Brownstone/Pretty Tied Up voice a lot more. I would rather hear him sing in that tone on the verses of Nightrain and Rocket Queen than forcing it and sounding bad.

TSI is getting a bad rap here. It isn't great but I like most of the songs on there. The Duff songs are the only ones I really don't care for.

A Vegas Residency with the Appetite Line up doing the whole Appetite album from top to bottom would blow people minds.

Yeah... They were all fucked up at one point.. It just took Steven a lot longer to get his shit together. And it really seems like he has this time. To see that Appetite line up together would make my fucking life.. Dizzy and all..
