Izzy will be there I think. He's said in the past he'd be up for it if it was a real reunion so I'd put money on him being involved. Especially knowing what kind of pay day it would be and knowing that in all liklihood it would be their last hurrah.

Me too. But Fitz hasn't had anything to do with GN'R to be honest. Frank at least was in NuGN'R, so I'm guessing he's the obvious choice between those two

I'm with you guys.. Adler is by far my number one choice but if he can't do it I would take Fitz 100 times over Frank.. I HATE what he does to the classic Guns songs.. He butchers them.. It sgould really be up to the guys in the band that have to play with him. It would effect them the most, not the singer. Fitz just seems to have the feel.

Guns N' Roses forums produce the most immature and retarded fans I have ever witnessed... Whatever Axl, Slash or any of them do.. Opinions from the small fraction of their fans who post here won't shape their actions.. I used to like it but back in the day they could have all taken turns farting into a microphone and I would have thought it was great... Just isn't a very good song a all... I hope they wouldn't feel the need to play it if a reunion really did happen.

Axl proved the world at the last Vegas residency show that whenever he wants h's still got dat rasp. So no reason to why he wouldn't want to give his best at a reunion tour shows with Slash.

That's not a big deal compared to his 2010 voice

On a potential reunion, this 2014 Vegas voice is still not enough to call it a good performance

I have been watching some NuGNR videos lately to try and picture what a reunion would sound like and I gotta say Axl sounded pretty damn good in a lot of the 2010 footage I have watched. Like real good.. I wonder what happened after that and if it can be fixed?

Thanks ludurigan, I have heard all those and they are great but I don't consider them "true blues".. Yes, they are jamming out to the basic 12 bar blues rhythm but I wouldn't call what Slash is doing over it legitimate blues if that makes sense.

I can't think of a lamer place for them to play. MTV just isn't what it used to be.

I would actually love to hear him do a legit blues album with these guys. Bet it would be awesome. They could throw it together in like a week.

These videos were great.. Maybe the best true blues I have ever seen Slash play.

I don't think Axl or his management owes anyone a statement on any of this really. Let people have fun with it and speculate. Just wait it out and see what happens. Before any reunion we would be lucky to see Axl and Slash do a song together at some random event or something.

I think there are other things they need to worry about before making music.

Repair and rebuild trust and friendships first

Jam together and see if it feels right.. How could it not?

Do a couple surprise shows and see how it goes

Then maybe work on a couple songs to release with a live album. Preferable some old gem of a show from the classic line-up. Tour on that focusing on their back catalog.

If shit doesn't fall of the rails by that point.. Then maybe think about one last album. Between all Axl's material and the album the other guys wrote before VR formed there must be a enough good stuff iron out for an album..

I really hope the guys in the band would step in to keep ticket prices in check.... The will have the promoters by the balls. Insane ticket prices will put a sour taste on all of this..

I think Bumblefoots am Ring solo in 2006 is one of the best Nightrain solos. It rivals anyone who has ever been in GNR

I think that was one problem with VR: Scott is not that kinda vocalist, and Myles doesn't have the right timber imo for Slash, especially in SOME of his high register screams.

I thought Scott and Slash sounded great together. The only problem with Velvet Revolver is that they tried too hard (to please Scott) and try not to sounds like Guns N' Roses.. That caused Slash to hold back from his natural style causing blues rick oriented songs and shorter solos, if any at all. He was totally restrained. All that being said, I still loved the band and all of their music.

Much better look for Slash with the ballcap or that knitted cap than the Top hat these days.

Yeah could care less about Sorum either...But I would take him over Frank.. I have just never heard anyone butcher the drums on songs so bad.. That Brain dude seemed good.. I really think Brent Fitz would mesh well with the band..

As far as the drummer goes bit is really up to the band and shouldn't matter as much to the singer..

Axl would still have his boy Dizzy there to balance shit out.. I assume Axl and Duff are good friend again too. Him and Izzy are fine.. Whatever ever is going on between Slash and Axl is probably new and fragile but if they all decided to do it, it means that they all feel comfortable enough with each other to do it again.

Dizzy is going to be there regardless if it ever happened unfortunately. There is a place for him on some songs but for the most part I don't feel he is needed.. If they do November Rain, Axl can handle the Piano. Nothing worse than useless keyboards added to Appetite songs.

I think he should just sing in his low register "brownstone/it's So Easy Voice" more often. I think it would work in verses of most songs.

Well assuming a reunion is in fact in the works, I'm sure even Axl knows he needs to work on his voice. Proper and long rest would be a significant start.

He should call up Rob Halford to get some tips. I always thought they had similar voices.. Especially on some of those Hollywood Rose songs.

His voice also seems to be stronger when he is in better shape... Maybe he is working on that as well.
