Frank has been out of tune a few times but he is ok.. He doesn't really bring anything to the table though in my opinion. I just think it would be cool to have Gilby up there. What does Gilby really have going anyway? Last I saw he was opening for what was left of Faster Pussycat, Quiet Riot and the Bulletboys with a 5 song set.

Would love to see them do "Cure Me Or Kill Me".. Would also like to see Gilby jump on as Slash's touring guitarist. Much better fit than Frank.

I have taken to posting at HTGTH a lot over the past year or so. And I have to be honest, his rep does not match up with what I see. If what a lot of people swear was true was the truth, I'd have been gone in a week. I don't go over there just to throw bombs, but I sure as shit have no problem being critical. And Jarmo loathes me too. Yet despite that, I have never been suspended, threatened, or even warned. I am pretty much allowed to say what I want.

Maybe he has chilled out now that his forum is dead.. Because he used to be a total dickhead.. I haven't posted there in years so I dunno...

Jarmo was an ass clown long before Axl took him under his wings.. He was the perfect dick sucking yes man that Axl likes to surround himself with.

I've heard there has been some talks about Duff or Gilby (or both) playing some shows in SA with the band. Is this right?

Gilby should just join this band. Or atleast be the other touring guitarist.

I started at 2TI. (2000 intentions).. Used to post at HTGTH but Jarmo was just a complete tool that slobbered over Axl's balls too much. The place is a complete joke and you were shunned if you didn't suck up to every little thing Axl did. God forbid you were a fan of the ex-members.. This place thrives because it a place for all GnR fans.. NuGnR, Classic Guns or fans of both.

This is one of the more lively boards out there. Message Boards popularity has dived with the rise of things like facebook. This place manages to stay pretty active. Probs to the admins and mods..

I think that monster is really bad,i mean many bands have them at that moment,maiden,acdc,some old bands from 80s.I think gnr are really different from the others.I think is good its not there anymore

I think they should just put Welcome to the Jungle in that spot instead of Dr. Alibi, but Todd's already got a token GNR spot with either Out Ta Get Me or You're Crazy.

22 minute Rocket Queen... I was in Slash heaven!

I think it's awesome that you enjoyed that but I would rather hear 3 songs than a 22 minute long nonsensical noodling by Slash. No disrespect to the man, but Rocket Queen long solo goes nowhere, really.

No way, he still plays at least 20 songs. And you couldn't be farther off saying that it is a nonsensical solo that goes nowhere. It is anything but that. In fact not many guitarists can actually pull that off. The solo grows, bends and evolves and changes the entire time. I would be highly disappointed if he didn't do it. I have attended numerous Slash shows with a lot of different people now and they are always blown away by it.

Just listened to this again...I gotta say it sucks with Myles. I gave him some credit the first time I heard this but finger pointing and odd voice he has just kills it. Just my new opinion though. Slash did great though.

Ehhh, he is just getting used to it. They probably only played 1 or two times prior to this. He always sounds better as he gets more comfortable with the covers.. I thought he sounded good and I am sure it will be even better next time.

Everyone has loved the Rocket Queen solos at the shows I have been too. I love it too. By far the highlight of the show for me.

Miles also sounds pretty solid on Rocketqueen.

Axl looked normal and sounded good.

It helped that the camera focused on Axl and Izzy and you could hardly see anyone else.

Saw Mötley this year. They shoulda quit 10 years ago. Was the worst show I've ever seen. The pyro and stage were good but they sucked

Where was that? I saw them twice this tour.. The first show was in Mansfield Mass and they were terrible. Vince was the worst I had ever seen him, they were sloppy and the sound was so muddy it was pathetic. But then I saw them last month at Mohegan Sun and they were awesome. Vince was 10 times better and the sound was killer.
