The drumming is the only good thing of that song imo.

The song isn’t bad after the first listen, I like it. It’s not a high end Slash solo but it fits. One of the better collaborations of his in recent years imo.

I’m totally honest. And CD is not a bad song. There are a lot songs on that record that are worse.

To me it sounds the same but I listened via smartphone, so…

I prefer The General and Absurd over half of CD tbh. Easily. It’s on par with songs like Chinese.

The difference is that Axl sounds like shit when he gets criticized. Todd did a better job than people thought he would on a song like DDM.

I don’t know about Zodiac or Tonto but Oklahoma sounds pretty cool. Atlas instead is forgettable in its demo version. I hope it’s not among the songs they worked on.

It’s played during the end. 19th song out of 24.

Nothing Left To Fear was always underrated imo. An acoustic breakdown with that, Beggars And Hangers On and Not For Me would be huge.

Please no Atlas Shrugged, that sounds awful. Was listening to Oklahoma recently. That could be a VR instrumental. Only thing missing is Slash’s lead guitar. Lets hope it’s a song which Axl layed some vocals down.

Of course she is more relevant now but Madonna is what? In her 70s? She isn’t relevant for 20 years now. And still we’re here comparing her to Swift. Will Taylor Swift has the same standing as Madonna has, when she is a granny?

Never said she isn’t a ‘massive part of the musical landscape’ I just think she isn’t on the same level as people like Madonna and Michael Jackson.

She’s definitely not in Madonna territory. I couldn’t name a song of hers, either, but most important, I don’t even know what she looks like. I wouldn’t recognize her if she was standing next to me.

It has its moments but it sucks mostly and the leftovers in their demo version are an even bigger mess. That’s only my opinion of course.

Do you know why I doubt that would be the case in the first place? Why should it be a masterpiece when even CD wasn’t? I don’t mind Axl’s repetitive lyrics at all and I think aside from the mixing the songs we heard by the NITL lineup were better than most of CD and surely better than their demos.

It was more wishful thinking. Too bad!

Man I wish he leaves that… I even forgot how its called… that slide guitar keyboard he uses for Rocket Man. I hope he leaves that at home. It’s not bad but I wanna listen that outro solo on guitar instead. I wouldn’t mind if he plays it first and switch to guitar at the end but doing the song completely without a real Slash solo feels like a missed opportunity

They play for two ours and I bet you gonna enjoy most of the show
