I couldn't find the comments on a quick search, sorry.

Apparently she went on to stalk several other celebrities after Axl, but I don't know what her current situation is.

That's fine! @MillionsOfSpiders just posted the quotes.

Now I remember some of it. He said she was "very heavy". It seems this fact kind of caused an impact on him or smth, because it isn't relevant to the whole situation, but Axl was probably not used to see very heavy women around him :smiley-confused2:

Yeah, I know she stalked Justin Timberlake some years after she was locked for Axl's case.

When Axl had a stalker, he made some derogatory comments about her appearance/obesity as well. I suppose her crime wasn't so much the fact that she stalked him but the fact that she didn't look like a supermodel while at it.

    I dont remember this! :o

Do you have those comments at hand to post here and refresh my memory?

She was a heavy woman from the pics I saw. I wonder what came of her and where she is now....

Axl could try snorting doughnuts like Duff instead of just eating them:

:rofl-lol: what the fuck is that??

loooooooool... When you snort food, does it go to your brain or to your belly?

Chiming in to congratulate us on 1000 pages of Women's Discussion Part 2!

I saw the band last weekend, and there really isn't much new to discuss.  :shrugs:  I gotta say, Axl could consult with Rob Zombie on being in shape.  Apparently RZ's a vegan and does yoga or martial arts or something, and it clearly pays off.  That guy moves like he's in his early 30s, and he's only 3 years younger than Axl.

    Carry on!

Where did you saw them? Did you like the show?

Martial arts are good exercise for staying in shape. I've not seen Rob Z in a thousand years and I only remember him as a bunch of hair

Does anyone else think that Greta takes style tips from Izzy? Here she is in runners, coloured pants and a plaid shirt. Albeit the shirt is a womens 'cut' but just picture a mens cut. I swear Ive seen current day Izzy in those exact same running shoes!

I love your energy to connect the dots with these things!!

Very funny but I think Greta has no one damn clue about who Izzy is or even Guns N' Roses :P

But she's better off that way! :headbang:

Probably some ladies here are Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and gigi Hadid and they criticize people's weight.. It's time to look at yourself.. Axl was one of the most handsome and sexy man in rock.. He aged... And probably its time to eat... I don't understand what's your problem...

Hegemonic beauty and health don't go hand in hand.

Someone can be healthy and NOT BE Gigi Hadid........ telling us to look at ourselves is weird...... like you assume what people look like here just because we talk about Axl's weight.
    There's no correlation between topics.

Also saying "probably it's time to eat" it's not the best advice you can post in here, much less to your beloved Axl.

well if you paid attention (obviously you don't, but for argument's sake) you'd have understood that my stance is, that social media is a poison, and the backlash that greta will no doubt face, and is already facing, is obviously too much for a 16 year old to bare. The videos I posted further underline my worries, as they clearly show what is happening out there. I was assured on here, by various people (people like @soon, @EvanG @SoulMonsterand @Oldest Goat), that greta is a "real boss", and "she will cope with it, even laugh with it" @soon further made fun of the videos, and even wondered why I found them offensive in the first place. "it's just a joke", he and others claimed

So think of the irony here, when it's me who you blame.

Anyone who's been on the Internet for a long time know how dangerous social media and other websites can get, but that doesn't mean that we've not advanced in terms of legal protection regarding Internet crimes. Much of that backlash can be reported if it crosses a certain line, accounts can be blocked and reported on most social media sites and if taking a break from them is needed, you can go that route as well.

I don't know much about Greta personal's life but from the outside, she seems a pretty laid back girl most of the time. Actually, she replies with serenity and a smile when they ask her about the "grown up men" making fun of her. If she's coached on how to publicly react to those things, she will be just fine, so I really don't understand why you act excessively concerned and worried about her, as if you could apply determinism on the life of someone, especially a young kid who's got (in theory) many decades ahead of her :shrugs:

Yes, she IS still a kid. Glad you noticed. So in short, you're pretty much agreeing with me and you mistake my reposting of these videos as if I'm a bully myself. Why don't you have a talk with the people I posted, and try to convince them, like me, that greta is still just a kid, and needs to be protected from this venom?

Umm... I don't want to convince anyone of anything. People can think whatever they want, but really... who doesn't see Greta as a kid here?

Most of us see her for what she is but at the same time, many of us do not think that the best way for her to deal with this is to hide her and lock her in her bedroom until she's what..... at what age do you think she should be allowed to face the world? 25-30?

See, it's ridiculous what you're saying.... People grow up and mature as they live and that's what Greta needs. She needs to live her own life and make her own mistakes. Being overprotective of her will only ruin her self-esteem and make her a weak person. Why would you want that for her?

Yes, she needs to be protected in a healthy way. For example, I'd hire a community manager for her social media and do some team work with them.

However, it's not only Greta who should take care of herself. All those people who harass her online, they should receive a punishment and learn that a child must not be threatened, made fun of or bullied.

That's where you should put your focus, in the adult pieces of shit. Not in the kid who's done nothing wrong.

because it is reported in the news today and it is relevant to the topic

I'm not making fun of her, I'm just posting a curious video relevant to the topic.

it's a good thing you never make fun of no one, because think of the massive irony that would be present here, if you did.

I need to stop? how about... no?

Yes, I do make fun of idiots and people who don't need any defense, like grandpa Axl and other dudes of the sort.

But Greta is still a kid, so anyone making fun of her, especially grown up people, should just F.O. because it is pathetic to make fun of children and teenagers.

You do no good by posting those things. Actually, it feels like you enjoy re-posting them and I'm sorry if it's not really your intention, but if you're as worried about her as you say you are, you wouldn't be replicating those stupid memes in a forum. Reposting the bullying doesn't help her at all.

never said it was... and totally agree with you. Out of nothing people are blaming meds even without knowing the real reason, and even if that's the reason behind, that's my point: way too many excuses. This simply means not caring enough (not even saying about "look" but not caring about HEALTH), or having a bunch of ball lickers telling you how great you look. No excuses, period.

It's sad for me to see him getting worse each year that passes by but I knew this was going to happen. That's why I wanted to see this band when the reunion kicked off, 3 years ago, I saw Axl and the rest of the band in somewhat decent shape.

Axl was nervous and wanted to look good for the shows after a long hiatus, but I knew this wasn't going to last and I was right.

Nowadays, he is fatter than he was in 2016 and probably closer to how terrible he looked in 2014. It is not good for him so many fluctuations in weight in a somewhat short span of time. Especially, he seems to have the most dangerous kind of overweight, which is when your belly is bigger than the rest of your body.

I can't watch him anymore, I'm so sorry....

I see a lot of hate in greta's expression.

I get it, she has a mental issue. I'm not criticising her, just making an observation. Hate caused by a disorder is still hate.

    Hate?

I'm sorry but where do you derive from that she's expressing such an awful emotion?

I really doubt Greta has any feeling close to something like "hate". What I see is that she's very passionate about the topic she cares about and probably she feels a bit of rage or frustration for what's going on with the climate but if she was full of hate, she'd not be the brave girl that she is.

As for the rest of your concerns, if she's got a good relationship with her parents and she has friends and family who supports her, I highly doubt that she will be too much affected by the comments made on the Internet. Soon enough she will learn to distinguish constructive criticism from stupid bollocks and if she's wise enough, she will not read one single comment and keep living her life, stuyding, doing whatever she likes to do.

Mental health depends a lot on a person's personal circle and network. If she's got that, if she's got true love and friendships, then she will be just fine.
