He needs some hair straighteners. Every time I see him with no hat I look at my hair straighteners.

Yeah, but that kinda damages your hair. I think he used a lot of that in the 90's.. I'm not sure, I always thought he had straight hair

If they could give him a hair cut with layers he could handle it better. He has too much volume in the back of his head, you can get rid of volume with scissors instead of a chemical product. That's how I do it with my hair, lol, because I have a lot of hair and I hate it.

  2. This AC/DC thing is what everybody told Axl in the 90's when he wanted to change the musical directiong of GN'R and they didnt want him to do it.

This is Axl's solo project that he should have done a long time ago. Well, it finally happened, and he's enjoying it. It's a break from Guns N' Roses, from the reunion (that I feel for him it is more of a forced thing than something he really wanted) and from the whole burden than GN'R is.

I don't see it as a negative thing, necessarily. Agree with everyone who said that this will only motivate Axl for his own band, hopefully to finally release new music or to give up for good and start his own solo career. I feel this is a breaking point for Axl, in which we will see a change, either for GN'R or himself.

All I personally want and expect from Axl is new material, new songs, I want to listen to new art from him. I really don't care at this point with which band he gets there: Guns N' Roses, AC/DC or his own band. Just do it.

Vince Neil being cringe-worthy has nothing to do with what he's wearing... Axl trying to follow trends gave us dreads and an overly large jersey... I'd rather him look like the Axl from sweet child o' mine. It's a show, when he's on stage, a dancing chicken. What's more cringe-worthy? embracing your past and owning it or an old man trying to stay relevant by chasing the latest trend.... guess we have differing opinions on that.

Yeah, tell me an overweighted guy in his 50's wearing outfits from the eighties is not the most embarrassing shit ever.

Axl still hasn't gotten here but if he keeps adding studs to his clothes, that's how he's gonna end up.

you want him to dress like that now? lol

Totally disagree, for better or worse he is an 80's icon, and part of that was his image. You expect Kiss to dress up, you expect Judas priest to look a certain way, Ozzy, hell even Angus... Axl should embrace is image, lose weight and rock the fuck out of his bandanna till his dying breath, I'd bring back the leather pants once he's in shape. He can wear whatever modern shit he wants in real life, but when he's on that stage people want to see the Axl Rose they remember, nothing to be ashamed of... be proud.

Well, that's you. Stuck in 1988. I'm moving forward and I like 2016 Axl. He's not an 80's icon because he's not dead, he didn't die in the 80's. He's pretty much well alive and kicking and I don't wanna see him looking terrible like Kiss or Vince Neil, who are cringeworthy characters embarrassing themselves and the fans by wearing things that don't look good on them anymore.

Angus wear the same outfit as always because that's his trademark, but Axl have changed his looks every time he came back to the scene. He doesn't have an uniform. Maybe the only thing that remains is the bandana, as his trademark. But until he loses more weight in his face, the bandana is really a bad option now.

That guy @SONOFABITCH is a forum poster.

oops, lol, well... @SONOFABITCH, if you're reading this. Please put that video back! Why would you lose all those views over a couple idiots who steal your stuff?

I know having your shit stolen sucks and it's unfair but man, this is the Internet. That's how its game roll. I really doubt the people stealing your stuff will ever have the amount of views you get. I think, at this point, I could recognize your work even without the watermark. So there. Hopefully you put that genius video back because you did a great work capturing Axl's essence and greatness.

    Props to you!

I agree with that. No one ever gives Myles shit for standing still on stage. I think Axl standing as still as can be would still have more charisma than Myles at least. Axl is one of those frontmen where you just look at his eyes and there is always something interesting going on in his facial performance, even if he's not moving. Bon Scott was this way too and in fact he never moved around stage anywhere near as much as Axl used to.

Axl sitting on that throne has more rock n' roll running through his veins than that boring mess called Myles Kennedy.

You're right, his facial expressions are everything, also they way he moves his hands, his gestures, he's a great storyteller with only his face and voice.

There was this video, on YouTube, uploaded by a guy who goes by the monicker "SONOFABITCH". You may have seen very good quality videos he's done and adds that watermark to them. Well, he had one of Axl from the April 9th Vegas show, singing WTTJ, and boy that was the BEST WTTJ from an Axl sitting on his ass. You could feel and scream just from watching the dude doing his faces and shit.

I dont have idea why this SONOFABITCH guy (lol) pulled the video out of his account. He had like zillion views. If anyone here knows him, should tell him to bring it back because its sacrilege not having that gem spreaded around the Internet.

    More from ACDC' Forum:

"Me, I'm pleased Axl's being himself with his clothes and stuff. He's saying 'this is me, I'm here to sing AC/DC, but this is who I am'. I like characters. He most certainly is one!", "Is Axl the best prepared, most disciplined musician on the stage? What alternative universe is this?!", " Fantastic Hells Bells ", " Love how Axl sings the YSMANL verses ". Our boy is doing very well with ACDC's fans

    Wow.

Yet I dont agree with their big surprise of Axl being good. Maybe in the last years he didn't show his best but the man is a great artist, great performer, a rock icon. He's beyond the music and Guns N' Roses. The fact that many people are in awe now its because of his infamous fame, portrayed by media and haters in general. The huge damage his feud with Slash did is part of why all of these people were non-believers. But me being a longtime fan of GNR, sticking through the good and band, I had no doubts about him as a performer and singer.

Ha! All of this stuff is before my time. I was born late 1985 so completely missed GN'R and AC/DC's heyday. I would pay so much money for a time machine back to see them and Zeppelin, etc. But I love the music regardless of when it was made. It's timeless rock and roll.

Yeah, well I did see GN'R heyday but right now discovering Ac/Dc through Axl feels different. I don't want to listen to the originals right now because I am more connected with this whole circus now, haha. Maybe when it's over I go back and check it.

You should go visit all the Bon Scott albums. Ton of great material. Amazing riffs, lyrics, and very interesting vocals from Bon.

I saw some of it on You Tube but meh... it's difficult to be transported back to those times when I wasn't born.

I connect with Axl much more.

Honestly I was never AC/DC fan
    Some cool songs, nothing more.
But, dammit, Axl is doing everything sound different to me.
This tone elevates anything to another level.

    AMAZING!!!

    Going through the same here.

Not that I didnt like some of their hits but I never gave them the time of day until now. Axl's voice makes any turd sound perfect and great.

That's the next step :headbang:. Seriously, what periscope are you guys watching that you can tell what he is wearing? I haven't seem him yet, if they put a muppet on stage or Axl was dancing tango, it wouldn't make a difference  for me cause I see just Angus and thousands of French people (crying)

    yeah, I wonder the same!

I can't see shit. Most periscopes are goddamn awful but the one Im following has good sound at least.
