gnrrulz
Oasis have been known to "borrow" things here and there. I cant comment on that specific one though because I've never been a big iggy fan.
Midnight Rambler
the drum bit to Force of Nature by Oasis is identical to Nightclubbing by Iggy Pop. yes, i have too much time on my hands :xmassrudolph:Wow i never noticed that before lol, not! Where were u when heathen chemsirty was released man? I think i remember reading an interview with noel in 2002 sayin that they wanted to sample nightclubbing but couldnt or something. Anyway oasis have always ripped alotta people off, but they do it in such a way that theyre like paying homage to which ever artist theyre ripping off, at least thats the impression i get. Zint
Oasis have always ripped alotta people off, but they do it in such a way that theyre like paying homage to which ever artist theyre ripping off. It's a rather clever way of pillaging rock music and getting away with it.They excel at it. pain cake
Oasis take an average song and make it mega. Get It On Bang A GongEt cetera. That's one of the most widely known, classic songs of all time and T. Rex's version is much better You might aswell say they made Revolution 1 a truly memorable song with your way of thinking
Marky
Im not saying they make it memorable, classic etc. And it wasnt a version of GIOBAG, it was a completely different song.
