What are the greatest, most popular Metal and Hair Metal albums and artists from the 85-97 era?

Also, what are the greatest grunge and alternative artists and albums from 87-97? I mean like Soundgarden, etc.

And lastly, the greatest industrial/death metal artists from 89-97? I mean along the lines of Infectious Grooves, NiN, etc.

The Jester Race is their - by far - best album. rock3

I know.... the rest of their stuff gets a 10/10 from me... but TJR just kills it all, it's THAT fucking good, an auditory orgasm :P.

Nothing - no metal before or since can match the December Flower solo.
