Street_Of_Dreams
Yeah. It was pretty good and Franco was fantastic, but it was just a lot of boredom in the middle. The first and last 20 minutes are great but the middle kind of lulled me to sleep. That said, it was pretty good but not great

st0n3r
Death at A FuneralHilarious movie. It's been a long time since I actually saw a decent comedy.Mind you, not the afro-american remake of 2010. I can't stand black humor with all the shouting etc.
FuddMckagan
The Lovely Bones. Interesting, I guess, but I thought it was a little disjointed. The bad hair pieces weren't helping things. I wasn't a big fan of the book either, and the movie didn't convince me otherwise. Thought it was well shot though.

Vincent Vega
Can someone give me some names of some existential or deep sort of movies? The kind of movies that if one was looking for inspiration to write, they could find it there? For an example, Blade Runner is a movie I consider existential. Kundun is another, it obviously influenced Axl.

JAC185
Well the reason I mentioned it, aside from the fact that I watched it last night, is because it is a) about a kid who commits a murder but doesn't know why and is completely emotionally detached and B) his father is a famous writer and the guy looking after him in prison is an aspiring writer....although it may not make you want to write about it. If I need to do some writing I tend to immerse myself in things that make me feel the need to write moreso than things that look like they might be something I want to write about. You know, a film like Into The Wild, or in the other direction Capote or something like that.
