Not saying these are the best songs of the 90's (or even that I like half of them, because I don't), but some to fit your playlist:

The Living End - Prisoner Of Society

Fuel - Shimmer

Silverchair - Freak or Tomorrow... one of the popular ones

Breathe - Prodigy

The Offspring - Gone Away or even something off Americana like Pretty Fly

Oasis - Wonderwall or pretty much anything off What's The Story Morning Glory

Metallica - Fuel? Something else off Load or Reload?

Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench (can't believe you're lacking Foo's at a 90's party) :D

Blind Melon - No Rain

Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun

Everclear - Santa Monica

Beastie Boys - Fight For Your Right!

Green Day - When I Come Around

Goo Goo Dolls - Iris

Take a look at some Hottest 100 Cd's man, they should give you a few ideas. I like where you've gone with it so far... good balance of music that people will actually like and dance to. Suggesting shit from Pantera, NIN and Iron Maiden really makes no sense because most people don't want to hear it at parties.

Wow thanks everyone for giving sugestions, it's just some of the songs sugested come from a taste a little too eclectic for what I'm trying to achieve but some songs I'm hearing are ringing some bells and I think I'll check out. Thanks once again :)

Boyband stuff maybe? Just to break up the flow.

Nah the whole idea is to keep the flow, that's why I've not put in Michael Jackson's "Black and White" and Right Said Fred's "Im too sexy" Which would go down well if I wasn't a total music snob

I'm actually wondering if NIN had a really big hit? Cause I'm not very accustomed with them and I would like to add them in if they have a song everyone would know.

...

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TUBTHUMPING! :o

Oh man I can't believe I forget that, I remember playing mario 64 with my brothers and sisters listening to that song over and over

Pretty much everybody is familar with Head Like a Hole.

I like the feel, but it's a tad bleak and droaning... But I probably gotta give it a few more listens and get accustomed to it; definately on the maybe list  Thanks

Sorry to be a prick, but this night has gotta be all about getting down to farmiliar childhood memories, but I really appreciate the effort :)

Sorry to be a prick, but this night has gotta be all about getting down to familiar childhood mammories, but I really appreciate the effort :)

That's cool - though I must say - the list is pretty tame and commercial by my standards and is very much MY childhood in 90's music [i had a big Sis with some seriously good vinyl which she hated me trawling!].

My 90's and, very late, 80's collection is massive as it's my favourite era, besides the great one we're in.

YouTube will find you most of them.

I also overlooked :

Slowdive - Souvlaki Space Station

Spacehog - In The Meantime

and probably most of OK Computer and The Bends...

I'm working on a Late 80's/ 90's Playlist myself. I'll PM you a copy once I'm done and you can fill your boots.

I have no prejudice of "Cheese", however... :)
