3.5 based on an unofficial time sheet (9.30-11.00).

So probably more like 4 (10pm).

Not to your hard - drive, that's why I'm using the DVD recorder for that.

I bow to your superior knowledge.

Lets hope they get the permission.

Does anyone know how to watch the BBC stream online if you're not in the UK?

Are you talking about the live streams on red button? I'd imagine you'd have to be in UK to see that. Unless it all runs on iplayer?

I'm sky+'in the bbc3 half 10 thing and going to watch the red button.

I get the feeling there will be no GNR though. Hope I'm wrong.

Any news on internet live streams? Might be only way to watch. Sadly the quality will probably be shit.

If it does all end up on bbc there goes the weekend :xmasssanta:

It looks as if the BBC will only be showing edited highlights on the main BBC3 feed. They will be showing the full set on the BBC3 Red Button.

As Im sure most UK viewers know the Red Button is only available to those who use Freeview. If you have Freesat its not going to work as the BBC haven't bothered to put in the development work.

You can watch the Red Button streams online:

For those outside the UK who want to watch the stream your best bet is to use a UK based proxy server. Google 'how to watch bbc iplayer abroad'. Im sure someone can figure something out between now and the set and post here fore everyone else. Some of the services that make you pay have free trials that will probably work.

For anyone who has a decent mac this programme is meant to be really good http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/29604/iplayer-grabber Don't know how it works but I've heard good things.

hi all, really really looking forward to tonight. (the wife has even got me beers in)!

i'll be recording the 10.30 show on my v+hd thingymebob, if it goes to the red button for extensive highlights can i record that?

Not with a V+ box unfortunately - I have a V+ and you can only record things from the programme guide and interactive features don't show up.

Can anyone clarify, please?

On BBC's website, it says the following:

Red Button

Press the red button on digital TV to watch up to 3 streams of music during Reading & Leeds weekend. You can watch extended sets from more than 30 bands, featuring Guns N' Roses, Arcade Fire and the long awaited return of The Libertines. Acts from the Main and NME/Radio 1 stages will be joined by performances from the BBC Introducing Stage.

Join us the week afterwards as well for highlights of the very best performances of the festival.

Press RED between 7pm and 2am Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the festival and from 6am on Monday for highlights.

On Friday you'll be able to watch the following bands...

Stream 1

Gogol Bordello

NOFX

Lostprophets

Biffy Clyro

Two Door Cinema Club

The Big Pink

Queens Of The Stone Age

Yeasayer

Phoenix

Mumford & Sons

Delphic

LCD Soundsystem

Guns N' Roses

Stream 2

Two Door Cinema Club

The Big Pink

Yeasayer

Delphic

Gogol Bordello

NOFX

Lostprophets

Biffy Clyro

Queens Of The Stone Age

Mumford & Sons

LCD Soundsystem

Meaning, as far as I can see, that we'll see SOMETHING of GNR tonight.

HOWEVER!!!!!!

I pressed the red button, it gives me a menu with a list of bands I can see. It mentions the (mostly shite, it has to be said) bands above but NOT Guns n' Roses!!!!!!!!

What's the story?

Anyone?????
