Has anyone here caught the paradise city whistle or mic at the end of the show?

With so many shows over the years and Axl throwing the mic at the end of each and the whistle during PC, they all must be out there somewhere! So who are the lucky few? (move if in wrong section!)

almost caught the one in toronto 06, but he threw it too far over the barrier for me to get it. I saw them earlier this year and had seats where he threw it last time, but he instead threw it where I had seats 4 years ago haha shucks, wouldve been something, huh?

I got this from the 2006 Istanbul gig, I didnt catch it myself, actually neva could being in the front row all the time, got it from the guy I seen at the gig

At the Rose Bar I got two picks from Bumble and Tommy, and Franks Drumstick, I even took a piece of broken string from Ashba off the stage haha!!

I'm thinking of taking a fishing net on a pole for when I see Guns in Sydney in december - maybe that will help

The guy who caught the mic at the show was wounded at the chest and the mic was a little bit crushed at the top, actually he didnt see it comin, it hit his chest, he fell down in pain and the mic fell to his lap, that means it seriously can hurt someone who cant see it comin especially in the head.

Slightly off topic: When I saw Slash, I was about 1/2 a meter away from getting one of his picks, but 2 people in front of me made sure to grab them lightning fast. Also 3 or 4 people fell over trying to grab his water bottle when he threw it into the crowd. I think they more or less dove onto it

The mic hit both of my hands but I still didn't catch it. I fell in the row in front of me and went under one of the 3 chairs. I dove in and something told me to reach under the chair to the right and there it was. My real seat was 25 rows back and 1 whole section away from where I went to catch the mic. I moved down there during the last minute of the gig. I got there just in time. This proves that if you set a goal and focus on it, you can get it done. I was going to give the mic back to the band because they cost a lot of money but then I realize that I earned it.

LOL. I'm sure if he threw it, he didn't want it back.

Someone pointed out in another thread some time ago that while the guitar solo is going on, Axl might just go backstage and switch to a cheaper mic, so he can throw it. I think that is possible
