Billy Joel. It helps that Howard Stern is interviewing him and he has a piano to jam on in the studio randomly. This is one of the most insightful interviews I have heard, Howard asks great questions and is a strong interviewer. Whenever a interviewer and a interviewee have a great chemistry it is magical

Depends on what type of interview you're talking about.

I think athletes are the most unpredictable as well as their coaches.

Neil Strauss just wrote a book about most of the people he's interviewed, some of which were never printed before, and Eddie Trunk had his favorites like Halford and Dio.

Some people treat an interview like a performance more than a Q&A.
