The 50s is like, an entire generations worth of love songs that i love, a lot of the Dion stuff, doo woop, The Beatles wrote some cracking love songs, most of their early output, Wild Horses by The Stones, wow, thats kind of a huge question, i'm a great one for love songs, cornier the better if you ask me, i think all writers should start off trying to write love songs, if anything they have like a real cool structure thing that you can easily subvert and like...it's a great template for like, practise if that makes sense. There are those that'd have you believe that all serious music/song is about love in some way, love and an abundance or lack of it.
