Better remix discussion

Listening to it several times now, I can understand why people don't like it, it's very far off the original song.

The production to me seems very good, the only thing I would question is the ending with the "na-na" parts. The main vocal line gets a little too buried in the mix there, while the "na-na"s are almost to the point of clipping, at least in my headphones.

That said, I will say it's an interesting remix of the song, but I hope (if Brain's done the whole album) there are better ones of the other songs.

This is giving me bad flashbacks to the time I bought Bush's remix album Deconstructed. The first time I put that in my car, I thought that this would be the first time I ever enjoyed a remix of a song.....I was sadly dissapointed.

Rock bands like Bush and Guns N' Roses can not cross genres and go into some techno dance style. The only good thing to come from Deconstructed was Mouth (Stingray Mix), everything else was horrible. HORRIBLE!

Letting the cables sleep was also a great remix compared to the original too I though.

on what parts? give the times..

I think he's referring after every "now I know you better, you know I know better" like at 1.20

talking about this remix... it sounds like a "buckethead+brian" concept of remix, you know what i mean ?

all of this techno samples and the voices captured from films etc etc

after that... the costant copyright claim by UziSuicidal LLC. that is interesting

True that was good, but they didn't release taht on Deconstructed. They dropped the ball on that album big time.
