Lets face it, KISS are tailor made for deaf people, strong visual iconography and shit music, perfect for the hard of hearing!That's the kind of taunts we used to get when punk first started to happen. Actually...before punk happened...being a Kiss fan in the early days was a lot like being a punk fan.Lots of derision from music purists who had it all right (but of course).Lots of Zep fans hating your guts for liking something out of left field.Something different.Something tried on a level that hadn't been shaken and stirred that way before.Four guys who weren't the best musicians in the world but said fuck it, we wanna do it so we're gonna do it and no fuckers are gonna tell us we can't do it.Four guys who took what skills they had and did what felt right to them and made some fun fucking songs in the process.Sound familiar?Lots of early Alice Cooper,Kiss,glam fans wound up in the punk scene.
