Powerage5
Meh. As long as people are enjoying the gigs, that's what counts.

wasted
Doesn't seem like its cancels. Mercedes Benz is 18k capacity. So there's always tickets left. Beyonce was one that seemed sold out though. Last time Brown sugar and Honky Tonk woman were banned. So might get some diff tracks. Or it gets cancelled
Powerage5
First European dates announced, with more coming in May and June:June 7 - Pinkpop Festival, NetherlandsJune 28 - TW Festival, BelgiumFuck...coulda timed that better - I've got a Maiden gig in Norway on the 28th, then need to be in Luxembourg on the 30th. Crossing my fingers for a date somewhere reasonable on the 23rd-25th though; I haven't booked my flights yet so I could still tag on a Stones show. Really would love seeing them in Europe! classicrawker
Picked my ticket up today at the Sands. The venue is on the 5th level of the Conference center. Took a walk up and the room looks small so hopefully my seat will be decentphoto hostingYou can see the Sands from the balconey of my hotel room.It is across the street in the Convention Center from the Sands Hotel, the building with the 3 towers, with the connecting section on top which is actually a pool....I can walk to it from here which is a bonus... Powerage5
Seriously. Asia always has the coolest looking tickets. Europe used to too...but by the time I started going to gigs in Europe they were just boring cookie cutter tickets. Same'll probably happen before I get to see Maiden in Asia
username
Right. Pinkpop it is then. Definitely going to try and get a ticket. If I don't, I'd happily trade a kidney for one.

Powerage5
Good set. May not have Silver Train, but overall this looks like the best set of the tour so far.

wasted
They couldn't play Honky Tonk Woman in Shanghai because it was vetoed, Mick said "We must have really fucked that song up the last time we were here."Didn't play Brown Sugar. Vetoed. They did an epic version of Miss You to fill Honky gap. This is the song everyone got up for. Mick forgot to introduce Charlie in the band intros. Suppose we got Dead Flowers and Street Fighting Man.They had a choir of chinese singers for You Can't Always...I can see why they still tour, Mick can still deliver on stuff like Midnight Rambler. After getting soaked in the rain queuing for an hour and the venue selling out of beer I was thinking it wasn't worth it but it was.All Down the Line Had great videos, it sort brought the song alive. wasted
Mick forgot to introduce Charlie in the band intros. Don't know if this is funny or sad...shit happens when you get old............... They seemed to laugh about it. Mick said something like "Here's Mr Keith Ricahrds…oh and Charlie Watts" And they all laughed about it, Mick went up to drum riser to apologize and Charlie laughed, but then as Mick passed him he made a flick of his drum stick his way. What's the joke about introing Ronnie as "My friend Ronnie Wood"On Girly Action Ronnie pulled a really great "yeah right" face. I waited about the same time but didn't get any . There were incredible long lines here in Limburg. But got some tickets for the monday instead.Bummer man! Maybe something will end up on Marktplaats? I was there a short while before 6. The people who were there first (23:45 on Friday) started a list. I was number 48. By the time it was 9:45 there were literally hundreds of people (Plato Groningen). Some started to cut in line and push everybody. Which was a really shit thing to do. But luckily the guys in front handed the list of people who were there first over to the people from Plato and he actually let them in in that order! YAY for them for being so cool. I went back there an hour ago and the guy at the counter told me tickets sold out about 10 minutes after I left. So maybe the first 70 or something people (from the list) got tickets and all the line-cutters didn't get shit. I call that justice.
