ZoSoRose
Wow, the stage looks really cool! Not quite as massive as something like A Bigger Bang or Bridges to Babylon, but it looks really neat. It looks a bit bigger than the one used on the Licks tour
Amir
My dad voted Paint It Black, him and my sister are going tonight! Hopefully they get a better show than the one I did at Hyde Park :/

Powerage5
And now they're doing Paint It Black anyways. So what was the point of having it in the vote?

Amir
Same venue GNR played in 2010 and 2013, and Metallica in 2011 and 2013 as well. Twice as many fans for Metallica as GNR. It's pretty nice, outdoors, in February in Abu Dhabi that's like 25 C minimum.
ZoSoRose
Slipping Away now! Idk if Taylor is on it, though. Strangely enough he rehersed it Edited February 22, 2014 by ZoSoRose

ZoSoRose
48 songs And I do have to admit, this is a very "meh" setlist (I'd love it if I was there and if it was my first time seeing them)

classicrawker
I would not expect too many rare songs on this leg of the tour as they rarely play the Middle/ Far East so the fans probably would be happy with the old warhorses IMHO............. Would be nice if they would throw in a real rarity for us hardcore fans though...........
ZoSoRose
Yeah, Im sure the people in the UAE loved it. To beat a dead horse, I'd like to see Taylor on at least 3 songs a night. Ah well!I would love to get Angie at a show I was at though!
classicrawker
If they don't play any rare songs I will be happy with a well played version of Gimme Shelter at the Singapore show............Very generic setlist and same two songs with Mick T............oh well I am just happy I get to see them one more time........ Amir
Brief review from my dad:"The Rolling Stones were bloody good! Really belted out all the favourites; Jumpin Jack Flash, Honkey Tonk Woman, Paint it Black, Gimme Shelter, Satisfaction,....on You Can't Always Get What You Want they were joined by [my sister's school] singers. [my sister] was invited to go but thought it's a joke!"Hah, shame about my sis! My dad told me he walked out of a couple of Stones gigs back in the '80s, but I've heard that they're better now than they were then. He also said he walked out back then because one of both of them were in a crap venue (Earl's Court).
Powerage5
Glad he enjoyed it. Does that set your mind at ease a bit too that you just saw a shit gig?
Amir
Glad he enjoyed it. Does that set your mind at ease a bit too that you just saw a shit gig? Hah, yeah, he kept telling me last year when I said I was going to see them that he thought they were past it decades ago, and now he says they were great! Bit bummed I got a shit gig, at least if I'd gone to the 2nd Hyde Park gig I'd have got Street Fighting Man and Ruby Tuesday! Also jealous my dad got Angie Edited February 21, 2014 by Amir
Powerage5
So you think you'd see them again given the opportunity now?And yeah...Angie is one of my favorites live
Amir
As long as it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg, sure! Though I have stupidly decided to go to Buenos Aires to see Axl for my birthday, so...But yeah, if it was somewhere like The O2, sure. Probably not if it was a festival show like Hyde Park, and probably not at the end of a long tour, it was pretty obvious at that Hyde Park show that Keef just wanted a nap.
