Gackt
Just want to take a moment to mention that I miss when Buckethead would perform a cool guitar solo section in an album...feels like it's been a while.
Sosso
I miss the more experimental Pikes like Factory or Telescape.
Sosso
One of the best albums will always be Monolith. You are not supposed listening to the Discs one after another but at the same time. Great concept.

Same, or the more thematic pikes like Twilight Constrictor, Night Gallery or Cutout Animatronic. I don't want to say his recent output has been too one-dimensional, but it's very stale compared to the usual Bucket standards..

Most of the Pikes are basically 30 minute jams with a drum machine but Bucket's parts used to be much more creative.
Majestic Beast
I think,it's a bit tiring, too short space between releases and fans trying to find these 2-3 songs/parts that are good into a 30-40 min pikes.
ToonGuns
Hate to say it but after almost two decades of being a Bucket completist, including his guest back catalogue, I recently timed out at Pike c. 290. Too repetitive and uninspired these days. He needs a new band, with a real drummer, to push him creatively.

That's sadly how I've been feeling nowadays as well; something changed for him creatively, when he started using paintings near-exclusively as his album cover artwork, aggressively started selling paintings and other artworks over music, and the music's more just riff collections than proper songs. Touring might help him get back into his usual self, but there's no sign of a tour happening again. I was hoping a lot more would have come out of his tour a few years ago with Brain.
Sosso
I bought most of my favourite Pikes from the series and that's enough for me. I don't want to pay $8.99 for albums with recycled riffs and no guitar solos.
ToonGuns
I wonder what volume he actually sells these days. Maybe 500? How many people globally can pay $25 for a physical copy of Pike 311?! He should reissue some of his back catalogue. Deluxe versions of some of the out of print stuff, on vinyl etc.
