Much like Chinese Democracy.The Soft Parade had a huge hit single "Touch Me," and while some fans of the first two albums didn't like how commercial it was, it was still a successful album and has been reassessed over time and has its fans. I personally think it's a lot better than Waiting for the Sun.I'd rank them like this:The DoorsLA WomanStrange DaysMorrison HotelThe Soft ParadeWaiting for the SunOther Voices Full CircleAnd Chinese Democracy is a great album. Sorry that 15 year-olds who like Taylor Hicks didn't dig it. Then it would have been "successful," I guess.
