Loaded
Some of you people are just posting stupid names in here. When i imagine some of the mentioned guitar players playing GN'R songs it's hard not to crack.
Randy Lahey
I like Randy Rhoads but he's not the type of guy you replace Slash with. It would have been better if Axl had started a brand new band with Buckethead and left the GNR name behind, but hindsight is 20/20 and some men you just can't reach. He wouldn't, however, limit himself to bluesy influenced guitar playing.

amacfantasy
It should be obvious by now, we need Bucket back.
Iron MikeyJ
Randy rhoades probably would of made gnr even better. I really like slash, but randy was a beast. He came out right after evh, so he was always in his shadow. Think crazytrain meets jungle, mr crowley meets mr brownstone, goodbye to romance meets don't cry. I shudder at the possabilities. Don't get me wrong slash was awesome, but id take randy over him.

PappyTron
Nuno Bettencourt (similar age to Axl, has been in a successful band, can play like a demon, has the right "image" and......he never gets mentioned).

Snake-Pit
I think Slash should get the gig.I think Bumblefoot is my favourite post Slash Guns N' Roses guitarist but no.That Guns N' Roses induction into the hall of fame was ruined by no Axl...If anyone suggests anyone who isn't Slash then they're just pandering to whatever line up Axl has now. The Matinator
Mark Tremonti! that's only kind of a joke though, because i think he sat down & learned 'em all he could nail them.

aArief178
Anyone can probably take over Slash's parts but I can't think of a single guitar player that can pull off Bucket/Bumble parts.pretty much like this
