LoadedNightraiN
Some good Axl quotes:http://www.feelnumb.com/2011/01/29/guns-n-roses-sweet-child-o-mine-1999-re-recorded-version/
magisme
I had never listened to this all the way through because the vocals are so awful from the start. Holy fucking butchered!
alfa75
Mashing up an old live version with a new studio version seems like it was designed to make the new band seem bigger and better, compared to the rather distant and tinny sounding live version. Why not play the AFD version in the first half and the new studio version and compare those? Listen to those and then decide which sounds best. jimb0
Finally a topic I can get behind. A 14 year old cover of an almost 30 year old song.I enjoyed hearing what Axl could do vocally that's about it. His voice either aged drastically or he didn't recapture his full rasp by that point.
liers
I think axl wanted the music back then to have a rough unfinished sound like this and OMG.
