maynard
So wait, NuGnr gets the rap of being a cover band, and when Slash does it, it's a reunion? Please.are you stupid?how is "slash doing it"?It's SLASH, DUFF, GILBY, MATT aka UYI LINE-UP MINUS AXL. Don't be stupid. GUNNER PT
I saw that SCOM video and I have to say this ...This band is playing with no passion ... Matt is almost sleeping on the drums .... and the others are just ... well, playing? It's amazing how these guys, who were part of the biggest tour in the history of rock, can play this music with less passion than a bunch of axl's hired arms. 31illusions
Round 2 Bitchezzzzz!Slash wins.
drtydane
Why the facepalm though? Because he's a diluted axl nutswinger who thinks Chinese democracy is gods gift to music. Plus he has dj ashba posters all over his walls. Shirtless, with a jacket, holding a shotgun, surrounded by crows. Now THAT'S badass..
Nosaj Thing
Slash > AxlSimple as that. That SCOM video sounded more Gn'R than anything we've seen since Argentina, 1993, the last performance of REAL Guns N' Roses.
alfierose
That was incredible playing. I can't get on with Myles singing it though, I would have rather listened to Axl on his poorest night fronting it. Doesn't matter really though, that performance was about Slash and he totally nailed it. The bits where he was playing and the crowd were singing along were great. Bulldog
I love Myles in the studio and he sounds great with Alter Bridge, but love not so much.
shotgunblues1978
Did they forget that you're allowed to move around onstage? What a dull, lifeless performance. Zero energy. LOL at Myles trying to fire up the crowd.
Scumcat Esq.
Sounds very bland. I now understand why GNR uses 3 guitarists live.Slash definitely owns GnRs sound. But not the name Did you think that GnR sounded bland during the 1987-1994 era?GN'R had a vocalist that covered up any blandness in 87-94. Yeah, Axl was omnipresent back in the day.
axlrosefan1
I thought it sounded great. Myles and Slash especially. This is pretty much the original VR lineup if Myles and Gilby had not declined to join back then.
Apollo
Lol at the Nutters.I guess DJ doing hulk hogan ears is the real form of "true energy" and passion on stage.Though I admit that Myles sounds horrible on GnR songs. There is a youtube video of him doing civil war that is literally painful to the ears.
Coma16
I think Myles sounds decent on some GNR songs. Actually, their other vocalist who sings on You're Crazy is pretty decent too.

Nosaj Thing
Nightrain - Sounds good, better than Axl and his awful, weak vocals. Thanks!
Careful with that axe
I don't think any band in the world needs three guitarists ... no, not even Iron Maiden. Tell that to the most iconic hard rock influence ever ---Alice Cooper--- who tours with three guitarists. Glenn Hughes should front all the songs. He is still outrageously good. GnR Chris
Myles sounds good on "Sweet Child" and "Nightrain," you haters. He's been singing "Sweet Child O'Mine" better than Axl for the past year-plus.

TombRaider
I have to agree with Volcano here. Myles sounds terrible when he sings GnR songs.
Flayer
I think Axl's use of cancer as a description of Slash was specifically to call him something that had to be removed for his own survival. I don't think he'd care what Bach or anyone else had to do with him, he just wouldn't tolerate having Slash around himself ever again. But I could be wrong. WhazUp
I actually don't mind Myles, he does a decent job doing those tunes IMOObviously the shining star in terms of these videos is Slash, as usual with great guitar work
dalsh327
I'm sure they're going to be talking about whether or not to do new VR music, or make a Kings of Chaos CD. You have everyone from VR except Scott there. They don't have to go with just one singer, either.

maynard
it's so great to see Slash/Duff/Gilby/Matt together, they rock! Myles does a decent job covering Axl's vocals, better than current Axl.
