Tater Totts
Will take a while for them to gel but things don't look good unless both Toure and Silva are playing.
GET OFF AXLS BACK
Its not really about them needing to gel is it?, even the experienced players look average at best. They may get better, shit they cant not get better but it will not be good enough.
The Sandman
Defensively poor also.
Tater Totts
Which is what I don't get, they were defensively poor last season yet didn't really strengthen at the back this summer.
The Sandman
Need a backup stopper - love Pantilmon, but he's not of the calibre (yet) to push Hart.

Tater Totts
They should have been 2 or 3 up at half time.

Guest NGOG
There's a bit of a power transition happening in the EPL this year. Four or five teams all have a legitimate chance of winning the title.
Guest Len B'stard
I think a good competitive league should always be that way, the 2 team dominated division thing is becoming a bore, i think that (i.e 4 or 5 dominant teams) should be the standard. Guest NGOG
Definitely. Consistently you've had combinations of teams contending for the EPL. Man Utd/Arsenal then Chelsea/Man Utd then Man Utd/Man City. This season you couldn't really pick out two horses.
Guest Len B'stard
Quite apart from anything the likely lads are playing quite naff really, overall.
Guest NGOG
Also true. When it was heavily speculated that Mourinho was going back to Chelsea and Fergie was retiring I immediately thought 'it's Chelsea's title'. Then City started spending heavily and doing well in pre-season and I started thinking 'OK maybe City's title'. Chelsea and United hadn't really been spending. Then bang Liverpool get a succession of good buys (and EPL games) and Wenger pulls a rabbit out of the hat getting Ozil.Open championship. Guest NGOG
How long do we think Di Canio will last?(Will, as opposed to, should). If you look at Sunderland's next five games, it must be horror reading for Di Canio. They might get something from WBA but that's literally about it.
