And the Moyes era collapse rolls on

Feel sorry for Moyes.

Fuck Moyes and fuck United, watched those wankers poison the Prem for long enough now.

Not a fan of Fergie or the Utd monopoly he created; but Moyes isn't a bad skin. Ex-Celt.

So the team that has been the best consistently for the last 20 years is poisoning the Prem? Whatever next? Arsenal winning a trophy? :P

Accolades are not the yardstick of decency. And as far as Arsenal not winning trophies, they're the 3rd most decorated club in English football soooooo :shrugs: And where are Spurs on that list? Oh yeah, under us, thank you  Just stick to pulling T shirts over statues and blowing record transfer fees on dud players and trying to hang onto a manager for more than 5 minutes, leave the football to the folks that can play :P

Just a bit of banter mate, although I am interested in seeing what happens to Arsenal after Wenger goes and who you get it. Obviously you would want continuity with the style of football to make the transition easier and that is what I don't get about Moyes, United have brought in a negative manager after many years of being positive.

That six-year contract is beginning to look increasingly optimistic.

This transfer window could very well be defining for Moyes, in that it will outline what his ideas are. This squad is poor, most honest United supporters know that. It's also the same squad that cantered to the title last season, bar Fellaini. Our competitors (City especially) were not great last season and failed to strengthen. That was one factor in the 20th title. More important, I think, was SAF's influence. There's been a notable drop in the intensity of our play. We haven't had much joy playing City and Liverpool the last few seasons but it's the results against the likes of Cardiff, Southampton and Newcastle that are the most worrisome. These are the teams you need to beat to get into the top four, let alone challenge for the title.

In short, Moyes needs to stamp his authority on the team and soon. Either get this squad to perform because you believe they can or admit that some of them aren't up to scratch and their time is up. At the moment though, we look somewhat directionless and it's unclear what Moyes wants to do with the team.

That said, I don't know who else would've been able to get much better out of a team. Perhaps Mourinho only?

So, Ramires lost his balance today and fell. He didn't ask for a penalty - he doesn't even look in the referees direction, but gets booked for diving.

Piss take.

Jose came out and said it was a good decision.

What a mis quote, you should be a professional.

He said he didn't see it, but if the ref made that decision it must be correct.

Sorry mate but that is a blatant dive, don't see anywhere where "lost his balance" he took two or so steps and then threw himself to the floor.

Also Chris, you forget that a ref has one second to view the incident, not several replays with different angles. He has one second to make a decision and to him Ramires dived to earn a penalty so it is a booking.

Sandy, you're a ref, what do you think about that?
