Bumblefeet Posted April 18, 2015 Share Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) I wasn't as excited by the first teaser as I was for this second one, especially the shot of Ford which to me felt like the only real link to good Star Wars. True, this trailer doesn't suffer from that creative misfire which destroyed the previous reboot, also known as George Lucas. I didn't get I was watching a universe created by him, but rather one created by JJ and that is a good thing. I liked JJ's Star Trek movies for the entertainment they were but didn't like them as a continuation of Star Trek. They always felt too Star Wars to me and so expectations for these movies are high. Also John Williams returning is probably the biggest asset aside from the withered original cast. This and Mad Max Fury Road will be first day at the theater for me.
