Guns N' Roses @ Vegas - May 21-June 7

I think this might be the point at which Guns N Roses and Motley Crue become indistinguishable.

I actually think the next step will be one of those cheese package tour: ''Grow your mullet, GN'R/Winger/Ratt '80s revival tour coming to your home town soon''. I am trying to think, how much lower can this band sink, and that is about the only way they can (sink lower) - the package tour.

Except for Crüe has a good lead guitarist :shades:

I'm aware that you're making a :dj: joke, but you need to remember GN'R also has :bbf: and :4tus: going for them.

I quite agree! GNR far outshines any and all things "Motley"

I just don't get it in any way. If Axl is serious with the "no trickery" thing, he's more petty and ridiculous than we ever could have imagined. If it's a joke, then using it to name the tour just seems like he's admitting this is Spinal Tap.

I don't find it ridiculous in the least. In fact, I get it, I like it, and I'm going to enjoy the shows.

I agree. "No trickery"...? From GNR? They have been nothing but a trick since 96.

Guns N' Roses return to Vegas with 'No Trickery!'

Edna Gundersen, USA TODAY 3:03 a.m. EST February 18, 2014

Two years after its first residency, Guns N' Roses returns with the nine-show 'No Trickery! An Evening of Destruction'.

Fans with an appetite for destruction, here's your new happy meal.

Guns N' Roses is gearing up for a second run at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The band's return, dubbed No Trickery! An Evening of Destruction, comprises nine shows at The Joint: May 21, 24, 25, 28, 30 and 31 and June 4, 6 and 7.

GNR has crafted a new production to follow up its first engagement at the venue, 2012's loud, eye-popping and hit-packed Appetite for Democracy.

"If some is good, more is better!" Bobby Reynolds, vice president of booking for AEG Live Las Vegas, told USA TODAY. "That's our take on welcoming back Guns N' Roses to The Joint. Our first residency with GNR was fantastic in every way imaginable. The band and the fans loved the venue, and the business was great for everyone else involved. We want all of the Guns N' Roses fans across the globe to come see what one of the iconic rock 'n' roll bands can do when they have the best venue in the world to do it in, in a city made to party. We are gearing up for another epic residency."

Chas Smith, vice president of entertainment for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, weighed in, "We are really looking forward to having one of the true American rock 'n' roll bands back and performing at The Joint. Every time we have Guns N' Roses play in The Joint, it just keeps getting better.

"What more can I say than it's a great honor to have one of the most iconic rock 'n' roll bands in the world coming back to rock The Joint for nine more shows! We are all excited about this next run."

GNR, which has sold more than 100 million albums globally since its formation in 1985, consists of founder/front man Axl Rose, guitarist DJ Ashba, guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, guitarist Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardist Dizzy Reed, keyboardist Chris Pitman and drummer Frank Ferrer. The band's most recent album is 2008's Chinese Democracy.

Tickets start at $49.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET Friday. To buy tickets, visit the Hard Rock Hotel box office or charge by phone at 888-9-AXS-TIX. For further details, go to HardRockHotel.com or GunsNRoses.com.
