foghat43 Posted February 28, 2014 Share Posted February 28, 2014 I believe I read somewhere that Axl added all that extra stuff on the UYI albums (e.g. the movie quotes on Civil War/Breakdown, the nutcracker sound on Dead Horses, the phone call on KOHD, etc.) without the rest of the band's knowledge and that they weren't in favor of it after hearing what he had done.
