BF and Hotsauce

Recommended Posts

^^ Correct. This was released around the time his horror film was released. A dollar was donated to the Los Angeles Youth Network per burger sold at that time.

The Slash Burger is made with Umami’s signature Beef Patty topped with Braised Shiitakes, Caramelized Onions, House American Cheese, Avocado Spread, Wasabi Aioli and a Parmesan Crisp. It will be available at all Umami locations nationwide starting September 26th. Its debut coincides with the release of the film Nothing Left to Fear which Slash scored and produced.

A better topic would be why don't people have a problem with Bumblefoot having a hot sauce line but with DJ having things somewhat relative to his actual job - car, guitar, clothes etc.

That would be an intriguing debate. Much of it has to do with the whole 'twisted, misunderstood, tim-burton rip-off, demented circus-freak' angle he got going on in every aspect of his soul and image and the average guitar ability, but what if 4TUS or BBF had a similar line of clothes despite their better guitar skills and less manufactured 'images'? Would they be accepted still, if they had elements of success due to their marketing presencs? What if BBF started getting attention more for his sauce range and BBQ grill (complete with beard accessory)? Would we welcome exposure for the guy's great musical ability due to a kitchen appliance or food addition?

If Bumblefoot had a clothes line, would the malevolence by anywhere near a similar level? Who knows! Strange intangibles!

I mean, if the clothes were cool, no problem. They're also accomplished guitar players, so sure guitars. The car thing is a little weird. But I don't think the hot sauce is a big deal. The guy likes hot sauce, put his name on some. LeBron James has his own flavor of sprite. The real strike against DJ is how much of a douche rocket he is in promoting his stuff, how he sucks at guitar, and how he is just an annoying little turd.

I don't see a problem with Ashba marketing his stuff. Yes, it's for 14 year old girls and bullied boys. I just don't like his guitar playing and douchebag attitude. It's a free market society go for it. BBF is welcome to try his hand too.
