Graeme
GN'R could become Teddy "Big Bag" Zig Zag and Tracii Guns passing wind into a microphone for 3 hours in a Detroit alleyway, and it would still be better than Bon Jovi

RussTCB
I've never understood why fan push other fans to vote in these things. All they do is push hits for the respective site, it's not like the poll outcomes ever have any real impact. And, no "You must support GN'R in everything!" isn't a valid answer.

Nosaj Thing
Real Guns N' Roses is 10001% better than Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi is 10001% better than Axl's band. What to do.

And, no "You must support GN'R in everything!" isn't a valid answer.ExactlyAlso funny to see all the hatred towards another band.Bon Jovi sucks. Yet somehow he has managed to stay relative in the music industry for 30 years, sold a hundred million albums, and is still popular today - 30 years after his debut album.I've always wondered how I can do it. If it is so easy for a non-talented musician to have a career like his..........where do I sign up!!!Obviously I like GnR's music a 100 times more than BJ's music. But take away 1988-1992 and Bon Jovi has had the way more successful career.Bon Jovi was the top selling touring act in 2013. Did 90 shows, all 90 sell outs, and averaged 25,000 people per show.We all might like GnR 1000 times better than Bon Jovi. But BJ is a way more popular band.I hugely disliked Bon Jovi & Sambora when I heard how they treated Skid Row.Do you dislike all bands because of the way they treated their openers more than 25 years ago? Do you care how much money JBJ has raised/donated to charity?I really base my like/dislike of bands based on the music they release and not because of what kind of people they are in real life. These guys aren't my friends. They don't care about you and I. They put out music. If I like it, I pay for their CD, merchandise and pay to go to their shows. They want my money - I want their music. That's our relationship. Axl Rose and Buddy Holly are my favorite singers of all time. I don't care if they are pricks in real life or the nicest guys in the word. Sambora gave his share of the rights back to Skid Row but the steel horse riding Bon Jovi never did.

There's nothing wrong with bashing them when they are being compared with GNR, a band that made their own success.
Damn_Smooth
LOL Ratt beat Nirvana in a suck-off and Poison somehow beat Soundgarden. This poll is a joke.
moreblack
The poll is in ultimateclassicrock, not that Poison and Ratt are anything close, but Nirvana and Soundgarden were part of the first generation of bands that weren't really timeless. It's because of them and the movement they inspired, that rock fell off the top charts.

Padme
I question their manhoods maybe.I question what they call "classic rock". I mean I think Zeppeling, Stones, Sabbath, Queen are classic rock not hair metal and grunge.
ShadowOfTheWave
Soundgarden was basically the fusion of Zeppelin and Sabbath. They are classic rock all the way.

Cause all I know is Nirvana and especially Soundgarden still kick ass.Not them, Hendrix, The Who, The Doors, old man rock. That'll be with us long after we're dead. I have serious doubts Nirvana or Soundgarden will be.
