Tom-Ass
Slash doesn't agree with synthesisers, at least as of a 2011 Music Radar interview I think Pittman solves the problem by allowing them the freedom to play UYI material that often times had a lot going on from a musical perspective.Dizzy is more than enough to take care of UYI's songs.. And Pittman doesn't just add things to UYI songs.. He ruins classic Appetite songs with those stupid fucking synths..

Subtle Signs
Pitman isn't going to add or subtract any ticket sales. If you are going it's for Axl and Slash (maybe Duff and the hope of Steven/Matt/Izzy doing a song or two) Nobody is going to see Pitman but I doubt anyone stays home because he's there either.

DieselDaisy
Seeing Slash play on CD stuff with a drunken Pitman dancing in the background is going to be painful; it would be the ultimate act of subservience. And then there is going to be all these Jarmos, Team Brazil wankers and Del James backstage, people who have devoted a large part of their life insulting the old band.Slash, Axl called you a cancer. Go and kick him in the bollocks. Edited January 8, 2016 by DieselDaisy

There are a lot of rumblings inline and on the radio... People want something that sounds and looks close to the real thing.. Pittman helps to make it look like a circus and certainly dilutes the songs..Fuck at this point Axl/Slash/Duff/Fortus/Frank/Dizzy will look good... As much as I hate Franks drumming, maybe he will play the songs like they should be played now that Slash is on board..
Ant
Shitty shitty shitty shitty shitty. We said DIZZY could come... we were trying to be nice. Fuck this.I hope Slash drowns out all this bullshit, smokes a cig on stage and ascends to godhood... and kicks one of Pitman's wobbly ass synths right into his chest. Roky
http://youtu.be/MrhZE7vnWEwDouche.Didn't Adele last album surpass 5 million copies sold in the U.S. by the end of its third week on sale? People don't care about CD2 because it's not genuine GNR music. It doesn't mean they don't buy records anymore. JeanGenie
Of course he is. Can you imagine how embarrassing it would be if they played Nightrain and there wasn't a 50 year old guy in the back (who had NOTHING to do with writing the song) adding a techno sub-bass synth line?Yeah that would actually..... be..... cool. BreakDown2014
The fact of being on the same stage with Slash, Axl, and Duff will probably motivate him to at least make an effort. Studio and live, he can be a huge add-on if he tries to

6lake sa66ath
Slash doesn't agree with synthesisers, at least as of a 2011 Music Radar interviewWell he'd better liven his fuckin' ideas up or it's back to humpin' Cypress Hill on remixes and handing his black American Express card back Here's the quote: "The only catch with the Illusion records was the introduction of synthesizers. I disagreed with synthesizers – and I still do."In context perhaps he's referring solely to the Illusion records and not in general? Here's the article, everybody can read and comprehend it for themselves: http://www.musicradar.com/news/guitars/the-story-of-guns-n-roses-use-your-illusion-i-ii-496629

Popular Post tbaugerud
Pitman is by all accounts a very valid member of the crew. I think he is sort of a link between the technical side of arranging such big gigs and the band itself. He's not the quarterback, but still plays a part.I'm sure he's a great human and someone you can trust. Therefore I'm glad he gets the gig. Musically, he's like a third guitarist: Not really needed, but could come in handy when called upon.I wanna say something to some of you immature ignorant kids on here (not necessarily kids by age): Chris has a family. Maybe kids. Imagine how proud they must be. Imagine how great this must be for Chris himself. And here, on the biggest fan site in the world, people propose that we should insult him on Twitter etc?Fuck you! I was here almost from the start. Been reading this place every fucking day for 10+ years. No one is a bigger fan of the original Guns than I am.Why have I been here? Well, to look for signs of new music. And I guess, always looking out for clues about a possible reunion. Now we fucking HAVE IT!!! Let's ONLY focus on the positives. We owe it to the band. To ALL the members. To ourselves.People must stop bullying people from the safe haven behind a nickname. It's ok to have opinions, but it's never ok to insult and bully. Chris P: I'm glad you're there to help out in every way the guys need your input. Enjoy the ride! If I was even remotely related to you, I'd be a proud man! To all the bashers: You're welcome to join me at work and talk to Syrian refugees about the troubles and annoying things in your life.Happy 2016 everyone!
