Gold top 78 Posted March 17, 2016 Share Posted March 17, 2016 Good to hear at least someone is going to talk soon and duff is the best choice he seems to be the person at the heart of the "regrouping" and will be the one to deflect all the Axl and Slash questions. Maybe duff will give us the official line up. I can see Slash doing interviews after Vegas talking about playing with Axl again I'm not expecting to hear an interview with Axl for a while. Great but knowing how sensitive axl probably is idk, I just wouldn't wanna ask anything that would drive him off the edge. The OP did a good job getting all the major stuff, but just in case people don't want to listen here are a few more play by plays, exactly as Eddie says it: -He will be in Vegas for the first two shows and seeing the guys -They are not doing any interviews but told him when they are. He says they WILL talk to him. Duff told Eddie he'll talk to Eddie first. He does specifically say "they" until he mentions Duff when he says "he" said he will talk to Eddie first. -He says "its all gonna go down that weekend in Vegas". I assume he DOESN'T mean thats when he'll talk to them or thats when press starts. I'm probably reading too much into it, but he says that right after the thing about Duff talking to him first. I think he just means in general thats when this all starts. -Talks about the possibility of doing a meet and greet with one of the casinos but that it isn't related to GNR, and the rabid GNR fanbase, which he respects and understands is desperate for information, might have taken that out of context. Also, it starts at 14:00 exactly on PodcastOne.com at least. Not sure if the time is different on iTunes with the 12:52 or whatever. Its exactly two minutes long. So honestly, the OP got it all cause its not that much, but as I was listening figured I'd also write down exactly what he says about it. I think Eddie has spoken to Duff and Slash, as well as Guns management, and they have told him when they will start doing press. I don't think he changed what he was saying because it came off wrong. I think he's heard from both of them or various people in Guns when they will start doing press, but specifically that Duff said he will talk to him, either before or when that time to start doing press comes. I just took that to mean he has a specific arrangement with Duff, the same way he has had specific interviews with Slash in the past but I guess Slash isn't talking to Eddie this time. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
