Just checked my ticket from 2017, same section, but I'm higher up and considerably less money spent. What did you think of the sound? I thought AIC sounded good but the mix for GNR was a bit inconsistent. Overall it was better than the 2017 show though.

Powderfinger
With only 1 song off CD last night, is that the least they’ve played from that album this leg?

I'm surprised they only played one CD song. I guess some consider Absurd, Perhaps, and Hard Skool CD as they are from those sessions, but still... Chinese Democracy and This I Love are some of my favorite songs NITL plays from CD, Sorry too. Better is a great song, but not live IMO. GNR was rocky to start, I couldn't hear guitar for the most part for ISE except the solo, Bad Obsession and CD it got better by the time hard skool happened it was fine for the rest of the show overall for me. Personally, it was a great show I agree with your statement that Axl tried hard, and I think he was better on November Rain than 2017, I really enjoyed the 3 new singles, and all in all despite Axl's voice being aged, I think it was a great show. I wish it was at Rogers, and that they had played another song or two seeing as curfew was 20 minutes after shows end.

Popular Post Amir
Had a good time at both the Seattle and Vancouver shows. For Seattle I had a "limited view" cheapo ticket that was actually right by the stage so I was happy with that. Ayron Jones was a good opener, thought it was funny they played a song called "Blood in the Water" at a GNR show. I really liked the venue, clean and well-organised, sound was good. My thoughts on the Seattle and Vancouver shows are similar to the London 2022 concerts, where Axl was surprisingly good the first night but at the following show it was clear he did some damage pushing himself so much at the previous show. The camera was right on his face during November Rain at the Vancouver show and I could see the colour was gone from his lips. Even at the Seattle gig he was blowing his nose between songs, hats off to him for powering through both shows. I thought the sound was good for the most part except for the first half of Estranged when Slash's guitar was really low in the mix. Highlights from the Seattle show were Perhaps (I took a video but the couple next to me decided to talk through the whole song so you're better off watching someone else's video on YouTube), where Axl sang all of the choruses, and seeing Mike McCready join them for PC. At the Vancouver gig it was cool seeing Duff join AiC for Rooster and I really liked Slash's guitar on ABSURD, he was doing something more traditional which made an interesting contrast with the rest of the song. Was nice meeting @Gordon Comstock, I told him after the show I'll be surprised if Axl can do the two nights in a row in Hollywood in November seeing at how much Axl wrecked himself doing Vancouver just two days after Seattle as opposed to the standard three day break on this leg. He said this should have been the end of the tour for this year and I agree, but let's see how the rest of the tour pans out. It was clear to me that Axl wasn't gonna attempt Coma or any Chinese songs in the encore at Vancouver as he was pushing himself to the limit already, but I really dug the performance of Don't Cry.
