adamsapple
https://splash247.com/sea-world-management-taps-guns-n-roses-for-latest-ship-name/ Monaco’s Sea World Management has delved into the 1980s American rock music scene for the name of its latest ship. Sea World Management’s first tanker purchase in years has seen a ship rechristened Paradise City, the name of one of the most famous songs by Guns N’ Roses, which featured on their 1987 debut album, Appetite for Destruction. Sea World Management paid Stamatis Molaris-led Empire Navigation $26m for the 14-year-old, Korean-built, 50,000 dwt ship, formerly called Tigris. Contained in the song are lyrics which could pertain to the business of shipping: “Rags to riches or so they say, Ya gotta keep pushin’ for the fortune and fame, You know it’s, it’s all a gamble when it’s just a game.”

Rindmelon
They should release a studio version of sailing as a tie in. Would never happen but at least we would have it.
