bmus1
I was expecting a lot of covers from a blues album, so I'm super glad to see one original. Also hyped to see a studio version of Bad Sign, I loved when that was the solo spot.

StrangerInThisTown
This is gonna hit the ACDC forums like a bomb lol they totally don't expect to wake up to a new Brian vocal to listen to tommorow
Sweersa
I wish they would do a third Velvet Revolver album with Axl on vocals. Imagine that! Maybe that's how we get them to do a new album. Get Matt back in the mix.
bmus1
The personnel list is cool. It looks like Slash is collaborating a lot with Tash Neal who seems smaller and newer in the scene. The bassist Johnny Griparic and keyboardist Teddy Andreadis both played on Ain't Life Grand.

You have Steven Tyler on your record and he is playing harmonica instead of singing. Hopefully he collaborated as full band member at least and is present on multiple songs, rather than just playing on one single track.

ZoSoRose
Title is ridiculous but I dig the cover, tracklist, and guests! Wish Axl would show up but it’s expected he wouldn’t 3

kingcanyon
i've seen a couple of people say Axl is on Metal Chesnut still looking into that because it could have been said to get people over hyped
janrichmond
I like the first single a lot and I'm glad that Axl doesn't feature on it.
ZoSoRose
I’m just glad it’s something different. He has no control over a new GNR album If any genre is acceptable to have a covers album with- it’s blues. He needed to switch it up after 4 SMKC records. Slash 2 with guests on blues songs works for me! 3
Stay.Of.Execution
Is this metal chesnut song something new? Cause I can't find any songs by that name

bmus1
It's probably a blues instrumental. Would be really cool if it was Slash's first lead vocal on a song! I think a blues tune could be the perfect thing to do that on.

username
The list of guests is impressive and most are people I already like. I predicted Chris Robinson and Beth Hart recently, but I'm super excited to also see Chris Stapleton, Brian Johnson, Gary Clarke, Billy Gibbons, Paul Rodgers and Iggy Pop. I don't object to a cover album at all. In fact I really like it! But what worries me a little - most of these are blues staples that I already know quite well by at least 2 artists. In a few cases more. And they're often already extremely well done. So it's going to be challenging for Slash his interpretations to hold up against all of those. But I hope he pulls it off! This has a ton of potential and I already greatly prefer it over another SMKC album. On the downside the title is just really dumb and the cover art isn't that much better. The concept is fine, but I'm not a fan of the computer-like style. On the upside at least it has tits n asses on it. Gunner55
Most curious to hear Chris Stapleton and Dorothy. Something about Stapleton, I just love. I discovered Dorothy after local radio added Black Sheep. Went to stream the album and I really enjoy it. She's a phenomenal singer.
Dani_1455
I am looking forward to see the collaboration with Gary Clark Jr, I saw him as an opening act of Guns on Seville 2022 and I remember him to be an amazing artist!!
