pentatonicamenor
One Way Or Another, from Blondie Parallel Lines 1978 album. I've always thought it'd be a perfect song to cover by GN'R, as Axl voice would fit perfectly in the song, as well as Slash guitar. It sounds a bit like Human Being to me. BluegrassBlues
I wouldn't mind hearing their take on it, I've always wanted to hear him do a version of Zombies, Me and Bobby Mcgee, and Try Just a Little Bit Harder. I don't think new music is coming anytime soon so I'd gladly take covers at this point

But these days, I wouldn't want to hear him attempt those... I'd like to hear modern Axl (and Slash) on songs like these...
BluegrassBlues
@Gordon Comstock I'd love to hear all of those! I have so many I wish they would cover
adamsapple
Lots of potential for interesting covers for sure. I always thought "Take The Long Way Home" by Supertramp would be a good cover choice. Edited February 13 by adamsapple

colonizedmind
Axl's voice was great on any cover back in the day! Still love that performance with Tom Petty...bit of mis-match as Axl totally overpowers him!

Probably the best vocal that I have ever heard from Axl was on his duet with Mick Jagger on 'Salt of the Earth' in 1989.
©GnrPersia
At this point where the idea of a new album with original material seem to be fading away, I would love to see another cover album by them. At least no songwriting effort needed.

Great example too! Think he raised his game when he was next to other perceived legends in those days...as a watch and see....
