Lethalis
It's a cool tune, but I was hoping for a crazy Slash solo that didn't come. Still a fun song to listen to. Edited February 14 by Lethalis

I like it a lot because the guitar work is very tasteful and cool, I very much prefer this approach to Slash's (live) noodling.
Free Bird
The song isn’t bad after the first listen, I like it. It’s not a high end Slash solo but it fits. One of the better collaborations of his in recent years imo.

allwaystired
Not bad at all. Never liked the Dandy Warhols in the slightest but this song is decent. Slash does like to keep busy doesn't he?!
Ratam
Sure the band name is kind of joke about the real Andy Warhol.
BluegrassBlues
It wasn't bad, Slash was my favorite part. It felt like I kept waiting for something to happen with the vocals but they sounded kind of flat and a bit boring to me, but Slash was great

Irish Rose
I'm not surprised at this collaboration given that "Bohemian Like You" has a very similar riff to "One in a Million"

JimiRose
Decent song. Feel like it doesn't really go anywhere so a solid 6/7 out of 10 song. cool, but i guess being acid rock, no one cares where the song goes
colonizedmind
Slash is keeping busy, of course! What do think the date of "last modified" is on the GNR Riffs folder? 😝 On 2/14/2024 at 10:28 PM, Blackstar said: I like it. But... AI-produced music video? Who does that? Free Bird
Slash’s guitar work troughout the song is more interesting then the solo itself

The Dandy Warhols sent him the track “I’d Like To Help You With Your Problem,” and the famous guitarist sent back his licks — blowing away Taylor-Taylor. “He came back in 40 minutes. It was done within a week or two,” Taylor-Taylor said. “That song is mostly (Black) Sabbath, Vietnam-era, LSD rock. Very straight-forward.” The creative process? “He said, ‘What do you want?’ I said, ‘Cry Baby the Wah-Wah pedal,’” Taylor-Taylor said. “You can tell he knows exactly what we are. It’s so good. He doesn’t start shredding until the middle of the song. He’s just an absolutely visionary, he knows what he’s doing. It goes so perfectly well.” The singer added high praise of Slash, calling him the greatest living guitar player.

evilfacelessturtle
I was pleasantly surprised, I might even add it to my playlist. Easily his best recent collab. Probably the best since his first solo album. I know nothing about the Dandy Warhols, though. Those chords just sound so damn grandiose and epic, and like Justin points out, the drums carry on unfazed throughout the chaos. Reminds me of some great times with psychedelics, haha. Probably the best since his first solo album. I was thinking about that too. Colors with Black Pumas comes to mind, which is pretty cool as well, but other than that I can’t think of a collaboration that good in recent years. Emerald with Ace Frehley was also fun but quite some time has past now since that one was released.
