igyhi
I respect the 50s for laying the foundation of Rock, and producing good music.I love the 60s, because that's the era where a lot (A LOT!) of artists that will go down in Rock N' Roll history came from. I love the 70s because there were a lot more complex and artsy influence. The 80s-00s basically suck, with a few exceptions. My favourite era is the 70s.1. Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run2. Pink Floyd - The Wall3. Bob Dylan - Blood On The Tracks4. Derek & The Dominos - Layla5. The Beatles - Let It Be
Rumin
The best album from the '80s is by-far "Thriller". And that's not enough to combat all the awesomeness from the '60s and '70s.

Rumin
the 80s were a disgrace to music history except for a few bands like gnr<{POST_SNAPBACK}>There was good stuff from Queen, Bob Dylan, U2, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd and others released in the '80s. Not to mention Michael Jackson, whose work in the '80s was by-far better than the work of anybody else. There was more to the decade than the Motley Crue junk. But yeah, the '80s weren't as good musically as the previous three decades.
