I respect the 50s for laying the foundation of Rock, and producing good music.

I love the 60s, because that's the era where a lot (A LOT!) of artists that will go down in Rock N' Roll history came from.

I love the 70s because there were a lot more complex and artsy influence.

The 80s-00s basically suck, with a few exceptions.

My favourite era is the 70s.

1. Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run

2. Pink Floyd - The Wall

3. Bob Dylan - Blood On The Tracks

4. Derek & The Dominos - Layla

5. The Beatles - Let It Be

Each have their own highs and low points. I do agree with whoever said the 80s were poor overall.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Not as poor as the 90s or the 2000s .

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

After the 60's the 90's is on a par with the 70's, imo anyway......U2, rhcp and REM released there best albums, plus brilliant albums from oasis, radiohead, Jeff Buckley, smashing pumpkins, soundgarden, nirvana, tool, Counting crows, Faith no more and er......the spice girls rock3 So c'mon the 90's was cool!

iron maiden - 7th son and pwerslave

GNR - app and lies

Jovi - new jersey

alice cooper - trash

metallica - ...justice

1980's is when rock ruled the world

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Those bands are Metal mate :D

And rock didn't rule the 80's, Pop Rock lol.

Metal was the only good thing from the 80's: Slayer, Metallica, Maiden, Megadeth rock3

I agree with you but I really like the 90's

The 80's (Except for Gnr) is just a collection of ridiculously poor songs that we nowadays listen to when we're drunk on parties.

the 80s were a disgrace to music history except for a few bands like gnr

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

There was good stuff from Queen, Bob Dylan, U2, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd and others released in the '80s. Not to mention Michael Jackson, whose work in the '80s was by-far better than the work of anybody else. There was more to the decade than the Motley Crue junk. But yeah, the '80s weren't as good musically as the previous three decades.
