Wholigan
Vocals-Robert Plant-I saw him open for The Who and he hasn't lost his voice at all, he sounds the same from the 70'sBass-John Entwistle-He is THE greatest bassist, and this cannot be debated, Flea is good but he is the man, just listen to Quadrophinia, I gaurantee you'll change your mindLead Guitar-Kirk Hammet-Out of character for me but Hammet I feel has the most distict and versatile guitar abilities, his solos are unmatched, and so are his abilities for speed and skill. Rhythm Guitar-Pete Townshend-Pete has become a great guitarist over the years, he once was pretty bad, and was only good at chords but in his old age, he's learned to solo quite well, and he has become extremly efficiant at playing rhythm while John would be joked around as the lead bassist.Drums-Neil Pert-Rush may not be one of my favorite bands, but I'm still going to recognise the skill of this man. His drum set surrounds him as he uses ever head. His abilities and versatility is amazing to see, and all I can say is I think he is truly the best drummer alive. axlslash
My ultimate band is simply Bob Dylan and the Band. Simply the greatest group of musicians ever to play together. Excluding those guys, here's my top:Vocals/guitar 3- The Boss, Bruce SpringsteenGuitar 1- Stevie Ray VaughanGuitar 2- Eric ClaptonBass- The Ox, John EntwistleDrums- Zach Starcky (yes he's Ringo's kid, and he kicks dad's backside all over the place)Backup singers- The Fisk University Jubilee SingersThe Chicago Symphony OrchestraNow that'd be fun. Maybe throw in a guest spot by Pete Seeger on banjo. And as long as we can use dead people, Woody Guthrie writing the lyrics.
