They are also selling t-shirts with the old logo... Buckethead is part of GN'R history so why wouldn't they still sell that shirt?

True, but why there is NO Ole Beich t-shirts ? :drevil: Or Paul Tobias ? :drevil::drevil:

I must admit one thing:

No matter how supportive I am of GNR and how big a fan I am, the person responsible for GNRONLINE.COM is truly an amateur.

The band should feel ashamed about the 2002 logo still being there next to the updated tour dates.

And please get rid of those chinese letter style words. The latest we have seen from the bands points towards a more normal font being used on everything.

They are putting the final touches on the Tobias shirt and are pushing hard to meet the deadline.

Yeah, it was the fact they didn't know whether to put 'Paul Tobias' or 'Paul Huge' on the shirt which slowed production, but went with the former as it wasn't a pornstar's name.

Really? Everything I've seen promotion wise still uses the Chinese font. Did I miss some T-Shirts or something?

It's probably Axl. :rofl-lol:

After all, he's not known to stick to timetables. He arrives 2 hours late for shows, and so could be 4 years late in doing the website..Am I being serious? Maybe, maybe not.

You know, I would think a record company these days would make it madatory for a band to have a slick site before any release. It's probably the cheapest part of promotion and having a site as poor as this one makes the world of GNR look more amatuer than having no site at all.

Especially for todays generation, the ones that will look up info on GNR after the CD promotion starts. Some 13 year old kid sees Axl on VMA's or something, decides to look up GNR online and gets a site that's not put together as well as his personal blog.

I mean hell, for a couple hundred bucks They could have a slick site set up with a nice database to enter live dates etc.....in a matter of hours!

I mean really, look at this site for my band:

http://audio-origami.com/shows.php

That database allows you to put in a gig and it auto populates it in order of date, if the date is past it auto puts it in past shows. It auto populates a link to a map to location and it took all of 10 minutes to make.

I mean really, you may not like my personal example but you have to agree that it's very easy to get a lot out of a website and it's by far the cheapest part of any promotion. With the GNR budget there is no excuse. Even if they don't have news every day it should look better. I don't see anything slick looking about the site at all, graphics suck, font sucks, etc...

GNR rocks, so should the site.

It'd be hilarious if it was him and he started putting up European Tour dates that allready happened!
