Cdlove Posted June 16, 2010 Share Posted June 16, 2010 I wouldn't really call Portal 2 a surprise.True, if it was an exclusive then yes but to say it is coming out on PS3 isnt that big a surprise.Sony are doing what MS did a few years ago and just announcing exclusive DLC and content that people don't really care about.If you have a 360 and want to play Mafia 2 or Assassin's Creed 2 or Dead Space 2 you aren't going to rush out and get a PS3 to play those games as they have exclusive DLC or something which will in all likelyhood come out on 360 like the Fallout DLC and GTA DLC did.Portal 2 did look awesome too, hopefully its a full length game this time around and not a demo. I want to see some actual gameplay on the 3DS, the reviews I've read have made it sound very interesting.I'm looking forward to the new Mortal Kombat, always been a fan of that game. The visuals being a cross between Twilight Princess and WindWaker with a water color mix is just beautiful. The motion plus also adds a feeling of realism. This looks so much better than Twilight Princess. I'm not saying that Twilight Princess is a bad game - far from it actually - but I like how Skyward Sword looks like Nintendo is trying to go back to the original roots of the series and make it suitable for the Wii. The graphics look great and the game play looks so much fun. Twilight Princess didn't have a lot of options as far as openness and roaming, and this new game looks like it's the exact opposite. While it obviously is still storyline based, I feel like you can do so much more in Skyward Sword. It doesn't look as linear, and I like that.And yeah, the visual is just great.
