Absolutely, it's been too long since the last good one. Five years or something I think? Though they haven't said very much about it. I haven't seen a video of it in four months which is a bit disappointing.

Edit:- All is looking great. I hope there's an option to turn off the driver name tags above each car, that sort of ruins a bit of the realism to be honest.

This is looking to be the Rock Band 3 setlist. No new Guns N' Roses song. About 74 of these songs are confirmed. 2 of them are from a leaked trailer of the game of which 5 songs came out (3 of them confirmed), so the other two are going to most definitely be in. 6 came from a leaked list of which another at least 10 have been confirmed from. They're most definitely in, as well. The only one I'm not sure about is the Rush song, since there isn't even a song announced. I think someone from Rush themselves confirmed them being in the game, but band members have been wrong or mistaken about this kind of thing before (Alter Bridge).

So I got to try Kane & Lynch 2 today at work. Sadly it sucks as bad as the first, ugh, I was hoping with Square behind this one, it might come with a higher standard. Oh well, it'll tie me over until mafia II comes out next week.

That RB3 list looks awesome, first day buy for me.

As far as the cinematic ending to Super Metroid, yes, it's epic, and it blows away boners.

Edit: I also played K&L2, It was about as good(or bad) as the first. Not a bad game, but definitely underwhelming.

Ahh, see you should think about the life long worth. You should have bought all 3 consoles. But honestly 360, get more games for the future. Wii and PS3 really have a great game selection for the next 2 years.

firstly i don't see why they made a second one when the first game had horrible reviews and bad sales. and even then, why not make the second one better? it makes no sense at all. usualy publishers tend to keep making sequels of high selling games

whats really annoying is that they're making kane and lynch rather than another hitman, which has a massive following and huge sales, there hasn't been one this gen(although blood money was out on 360 it was really a ps2 game with upgraded graphics). i know they're making one now but after playing kane and lynch, i've lost some faith in the makers

final word: Kane and lynch was just a waste of time for both gamers and devs

Just bought Dirt 2 on Platinum. I know it's been out for a year, but I've been playing alot of other games the last year, so now it was finally time to get some Rally time.

My first impression is about the graphics, it's a beautiful looking game. Especially the light and the way it's cast around objects and reflects on the hood. The textures are sharp complimented with a rich world with grass, bushes, trees and other scenery.

Another thing I really dig about the game apart from the solid driving experience, that is just the right blend between arcade and simulation, is the fact that the game is hard, but forgiving. The game can be hard at times, but you always know that you're the reason. Unlike other games where the game is the reason for failure. There is nothing more annoying then loosing a game because of a faulty game engine or a buggy game. So when I play it again, I feel that I can do it better, and after a few more attempts, it sticks, brilliant!

I also got Alien vs Predator recently (becouse it dropped in price). I really liked the old games so I was expecting more of the same, and after the first alien mission, it's pretty much the same game, with a slightly new/modified story, and better (although only slightly better) graphics. All in all I think it's going to be fun playing trough the campaigns. Don't know how much I will play online, although I know it's a solid online experience.

Just to seem up to date.....the mafia 2 demo was pretty "meh", liked the porno magazine....nice touch

It's okay. I experience a ton of lag when I play online, sometimes to the point that it's unplayable. It's the only game I ever have that problem with.

As odd as this sounds, I think Cliffy B (The dude who makes Gears of War.) Came into my store today. I've been working at a gamestop like store called gamebuzz in the downtown area, and yesterday, some dude comes in and asks myself and my coworker our opinions on Gears of war. My co-worker didn't play it, so I ended up bullshitting with this guy, telling him Gears of wars has great controls, but uses too many sepia tones, but that Cliffy B has amazing direction when it comes to the directing of his games. Up until this point, I thought I was making a sales pitch, until the guy tells me he's from NC, and he's friends with Cliffy B, and this was feedback for him. We bullshitted some more about halo being a better game, but how between reach and Gears 3, I'd choose Gears 3.

Anyways, When the dude told me he was from NC, I got home, and decided to google Cliffy B, really to be reminded what he looks like, and where he's from, to see if that dude was potentially telling the truth. I have to say, the dude that came into my store looks identical to Cliffy. It was either him, or his brother.

Just thought I'd share.

Also people arent sure if it is 100% hacked as the games they launch, atleast in the first video that surfaced were downloadable games off the PSN so while it looks like a hack it might not be.

Like Bromle said be careful as you will lose all PSN facilities.

A PS3 mod chip wouldn't appeal to me simply because the games are much too big. Would take forever to download (on my connection anyway) and would take up a hell of a lot of hard drive space.
